About me

Hi, I'm Brandon, the artist behind BKM Illustration. I'm an illustrator and creative educator based in Philadelphia.  I create illustrations and paintings inspired by people, animals, everyday moments, and the stories that catch my eye.

Art, for me, has always been about slowing down enough to actually see something, and then figuring out how to get that feeling onto paper. It’s taught me that most people are more creative than they give themselves credit for, and I love being part of the moment someone realizes that about themselves.

Through BKM Illustration, I create original artwork, take on illustration and art commissions, and share drawing resources for anyone who wants to build their skills while actually enjoying the process, no perfectionism required.
